Dried up food that atmosphere you can't breathe and it's too stuffy it's unhealthy in there

What a weird little restaurant. The food wasn't amazing. Though from a buffet it was fine. There was no music and it made the whole experience really awkward.

The bar is fun. I have seen pics of cockroaches on the buffet plate carts circulating lately. Used to be good. Sorry guys. Social media destroys everyrhing.

If you want Chinese food it's alright, but I honestly wouldn't recommend this place much. They put actual peanut butter on their peanut chicken, which is odd, and the sushi must have been out too long as it smelled slightly of moldy bread. Honestly I'm not that picky about my food but me and my girlfriend were definitely disappointed. Maybe after their renovation it will improve and I'll update my review to reflect that.

The food was old and had been sitting out too long. Some of the dishes with pork and chicken in them were cold. The only thing semi good was the white rice, the fried rice and three of the desserts they just had to thaw and tray up.They really need a surprise inspection!AND NOT ICE CREAM CONES?!?! REALLY?!?!

Food tasted good but like it had been out on the steam tables too long. Admitted though it was 1600 and only the 2 of us in the place.

Good eating atmosphere and good food the staff friendly and helpful and the price is right every meal a banquet

Food is mediocre at best. The worst thing about this place is the mold everywhere and the lack of cleanliness. Tables are usually sticky with previous meals, the silverware isn't always as clean as it could be, the freezer with the ice cream has mold around the lid seal, the ice cream scoop is sitting in a dish of room temp water, and there is mold covering the ceiling. I'm sure a good inspection of the kitchen would reveal even worse conditions. Eat at your own risk.

Great service in the bar and good food in a buffet

If I could post a zero star rating, I would. This the absolute worst buffet experience I've ever had. If I was new to Chinese cuisine I would probably think it was great and worth five stars as well, but this isn't the first buffet I've eaten at and my stomach is not made of iron. The "sushi" was warm; the avacado was black, the only meat was imitation crab, and it actually stank. Reluctantly, I ate it, big mistake. All of the sea food was the same gross smell and and even worse taste. Most everything else was bland or over salted. The soups had turned thick and chunky with disgusting films over the top. The floors are all carpet. DO NOT EAT HERE. It's a guarantee to make you sick. Save money and eat at Kobe in downtown Shelton. I guarantee friendlier hosts, great and fresh food, less expensive food, and a clean restaurant.

Food is usually a lot better. $11.99 person. A little pricey for the quality of the food that was served tonight. Again, it's usually much better. But still edible.

The selection is okay, the food is tasty. Would have been a whole lot better is it was hot.

Dried up food, limited quality, mold around the rice pot, very sad and distasteful. Loud yelling coming from bar, not a happy place. Over priced for the amount of food that is offered. We were there for at lease 45 mins and never seen any fresh food put out. Melon taste like it had been in the back of the refrigerator. Clams come complete with sand. Very small buffet. Travel a bit farther and head to Clear Water at lease you are made to feel welcome. Also, watch your recite. you will be doubled charged. Stay away not worth your time.

Its so so hit or miss whether the food is good or hot i don't suggest the sushi or the freezer burnt icecream.

Only went once and don't plan to return. Not a very clean restaurant. The food looked old and dry, gnats, stained sticky floors.. It was an awkward experience because I felt like I had to be particularly choosy with my food selection, and the place was dead.

My family and I, used to enjoy eating at this restaurant a few times a year. . That was before I guess new owners or management, seem to be involved. We did not enjoy our dining experience this time, as we had in the past. I wouldn't say it was the worst that we have had before, but it was far from the quality that we have enjoyed from our previous dining experience there. So with that being said we will not be returning there again, and will choose a different restaurant to dine in when our family goes out for a meal.

This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly, there are so many food choices, the food is delicious and the price is good. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

COCKROACH & ANT INFESTATION!! I have never been so disgusted. The buffet lines are infested with roaches & ants. They knew & still invited more customers in. I called the Health Department who was not surprised. The restaurant did say that we could eat for free... I'm disgusted.

Quiet peaceful. Not overly busy. Descent food.

Literally the worst buffet I’ve ever had in my life. All of the food was old and dry, rubbery texture. DO NOT GO THERE. It was 70 bucks for four people outrageous. Iv been to some bad buffet but by far the worst.

I’m sure that once upon a time the food might have been good here ...those days are long gone. My jaw muscles are now super buff from chewing the meat that was probably sitting there for hours. I entertained the idea of trying the sushi, but then I looked at it, and amidst the mystery rolls (because there were no labels to be seen) I spied the bowl of wasabi, that was the same color as week old guacamole, and chose to pass. There was a seafood section that had scallops and oysters, both of them greasy and smothered in “cheese product” that looked pretty horrifying. But! Bonus, there was a tray of “Texas toast” that looked like the boxed stuff, and that was a pretty safe choice. So $70 later for our group of four,and a hilarious drive home with my husband that was holding back what I assume to be explosive diarrhea (just judging off the sounds from my bathroom), I would strongly advise against eating at the Royal buffet in Shelton wa.

Decent food at a decent price. If you're hungry it's the best lunch deal in town.

Decent buffet, decent sushi. Smallish place so you won't see many buffet stations. What is there is good anywho. Most inexpensive Chinese buffet you'll ever go to.

The food is amazing! I would suggest bringing your own wipes because the high chairs and table were pretty sticky. But overall very satisfied with the quality of food compaired to the cost

Everything you would ever want in a lounge. The drinks are poured stiff and the smoking lounge is more than comfortable. Outdoor fireplace and flat screen football. Its a Seahawks crowd so dont forget to wear your jersey. Theres darts and pool. Cozy and date night lit with tables and booths.Always plenty of seats at the bar too. Its extra long. And pulltabs too

Worst place ever not only are all these good comments lies but the place stayed open serving food to customers after i pointed out the cockroach crawling on the clean plates, then when the server tried to catch it he revealed literally hundreds of them in the plate dispenser. By staying open after knowing your food isn't safe you are breaking the law and poisoning people, hope you get shut down asap cause your killing people and i won't stand for it

Food is good. Sushi is just ok, wish they had more options but what little they had was good. Generals chicken was decent. Not great but workable. Sushi options are less than what you can find at most or all of the safeway demo's. Safeways generals chicken is better. But it is all you can eat buffet and its easy to find something you like to fill up on.

Ordered take out. We were asked what kind of soup we wanted but it didn't matter we didn't get it. We got no hot mustard or soy sauce so it was quite bland. Probably won't do that again..

Don't do it! It's not worth it. I don't care how hungry you are. Save yourself some money and explosive diarrhea. It you are truly that hungry and it starts to sound like a good idea. Turn around go out the door and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. Believe me this is the best option.

Very affordable and friendly people. I love their food. Around 4pm is the best time to go because the food is just made. Have variety of food you'd typically find at a large buffet restaurant, including what my kids enjoy (even french fries, onion rings and tatter toss). I threw a birthday party of 30 people there once. I think it's a pretty big restaurant. Probably can hold about 50 people easily.The attached full bar is worth trying. I would go there again.

Friendly lady running the place, food was good. They seem to put time and love into their dishes, it's not just mass produced like some places in the area. The bbq chicken is amazing, over all experience was positive.. this was our first visit2 adults1 five year oldBuffet + 2 sodas during lunch was $29

3 ish. Nice staff but really dirty restaurant. Made me a little nervous to even eat but the buffet wasn't terrible and we survived. The real gem here, that's a must see is the ah-mazing glass etched panels of gnome life. Seriously I want them !

Very good service and nice people. We went pretty late so not everything was fresh. But all in all pretty good.

Buffet is alright. Bar is fun. Everyone knows everyone and there's always a welcoming face. Steph, z, and brandy are who i go to see as far as bartenders. Rose has resting b* face but don't let it put you off... She's sweet.

Loved it here. Didn't expect such a good Chinese buffet in a smaller town and I was really pleased. Had a little of everything and nothing was bad. Loved the sushi. Everything was plentiful and the price seemed very reasonable. We'll be back. :-)

Awful. The food is dry and really not good. Most dishes are unmarked and the sushi is mystery sushi (also none of it marked) - what I believe is a California roll, is made of sweet imitation crab, gross. This place used to have good flavorful food years ago but now it doesn't. Also, I got burned on the steam tables because they have the steam cranked up so high. its noticeable and hard to avoid as steam is pouring out around the trays holding the food. it's hard to see when the glass above the steam table (between you and the food) is steamy and wet, ya cant see and therefore get burned. We had a bad experience and won't be going back here again.
